Causalità e ordine in sequenze discrete Causality and Order in Discrete Sequences

In the context of Oblivion Time (${\Theta}$), causality is no longer understood as a continuous flow but as a relationship between ordered instantaneous presents. Each event $E$ is an element of the sequence of temporal clicks $E_0, E_1, E_2, \dots, E_n$, where $E_i$ represents the state of the system at instant $t_i$.

$$ t_{i+1} = t_i + \Theta $$

1. Ordine causale tra eventi1. Causal Order Between Events

An event A can be the cause of an event B only if $t_A < t_B$ and their separation is a positive integer multiple of ${\Theta}$:

In una sequenza discreta, il minimo intervallo causale è ${\Theta}$.This formulation excludes any possibility of retroactive causality, since ${\Theta > 0}$. In a discrete sequence, the minimum causal interval is ${\Theta}$.

2. ${\Delta n}$ come differenza di griglia tra osservatori2. ${\Delta n}$ as the Grid Difference Between Observers

Supponiamo due osservatori con griglie temporali diverse, ${\Theta_1}$ e ${\Theta_2}$. L’asincronia tra i due si misura come:Suppose two observers have different temporal grids, ${\Theta_1}$ and ${\Theta_2}$. The asynchrony between them is measured as:

$$ \Delta n = \frac{\Theta_2}{\Theta_1} \cdot n $$

Se ${\Theta_2 > \Theta_1}$, l’osservatore 2 percepisce meno eventi nello stesso intervallo. La realtà gli appare “più lenta”.If ${\Theta_2 > \Theta_1}$, observer 2 perceives fewer events in the same interval. Reality appears "slower" to them.

3. Funzione causale discreta3. Discrete Causal Function

We can define a causal function $C(t)$ on a temporal grid:

$$ C(t) = \sum_i f(E_i) \cdot \delta(t - t_i) $$
  • $f(E_i)$ è il contributo causale dell’evento i-esimo.$f(E_i)$ is the causal contribution of the i-th event.
  • $\delta(t - t_i)$ è la delta di Dirac discreta (1 se $t=t_i$, 0 altrimenti).$\delta(t - t_i)$ is the discrete Dirac delta (1 if $t=t_i$, 0 otherwise).

This function can be interpreted as the causal density of reality.

4. Capacità Causale di un Sistema4. Causal Capacity of a System

Definiamo la capacità causale $C_a$ come:The denser the temporal lattice (smaller ${\Theta}$), the greater the ability to define distinct events. We define the causal capacity $C_a$ as:

$$ C_a = \frac{1}{\Theta} $$

Un oggetto in un buco nero ha $C_a \to 0$ (${\Theta \to \infty}$).Where $C_a$ is the maximum number of distinct causal events per second. A photon has $C_a \to \infty$ (${\Theta \approx 0}$). An object in a black hole has $C_a \to 0$ (${\Theta \to \infty}$).

5. Riformulazione del principio causale5. Reformulation of the Causal Principle

Every effect $E_{i+1}$ can only depend on $E_i$ and the preceding clicks. Causality is sequential, never continuous.

$$ E_{i+1} = F(E_i, E_{i-1}, \dots, E_0) $$

This discrete formulation of causality allows us to resolve logical violations and reconceptualize the arrow of time as a natural order of clicks, without ambiguity.
