L’evidenza era già sotto i nostri occhi The evidence was already before our eyes

For centuries we have watched the pendulum, counted the beats of a metronome, observed the waves. And yet, a truth as simple as it is shocking has always eluded us: time does not flow, it jumps.

We have built everything on continuity: from Newtonian mechanics to relativity. But that continuity has never truly been observed. It has been deduced. Assumed. Idealized. And just like perfect straight lines, it has only worked because we have agreed to ignore the invisible.

The paradox is fascinating: we live in a world that behaves as if it were continuous, but our every concrete experience—visual, acoustic, tactile—is based on a discrete rhythm. We have called this discretion "frequency," "resolution," "frame rate." But it was, in fact, an indirect manifestation of the Oblivion Time.

Pensiamo alla fotografia. Ogni scatto è un presente istantaneo. Un blocco totale della realtà. Nulla si muove. Eppure, nello scatto successivo, tutto è cambiato. Che cos'è avvenuto nel tempo-non-tempo intermedio? La risposta è vertiginosa: nulla. Letteralmente nulla. Let's think about photography. Every shot is an instantaneous present. A total block of reality. Nothing moves. And yet, in the next shot, everything has changed. What happened in the intermediate time-non-time? The answer is dizzying: nothing. Literally nothing. And this very nothingness is the Oblivion Time.

Esperimenti classici come prove dimenticateClassical experiments as forgotten proofs

The pendulum: it does not swing, it appears in a new position, ${\Theta}$ after ${\Theta}$. Free fall: the body does not descend smoothly, but passes from one point to another at minimal intervals; the perfect parabola hides an invisible ladder. The waves: every wave, observed in extreme slow motion, is a sequence of quantized states. In each of these cases, the illusion of continuity is an act of faith.

Il tempo era quantizzato… da sempreTime was quantized... all along

What the Oblivion Time Theory suggests is that the evidence was already before our eyes. But we ignored it because we needed to simplify. We replaced the mosaic of reality with an oil painting, blurred, elegant. Only today, looking with new eyes, can we appreciate the real texture of the world: a grid of instants separated by invisible voids, upon which everything is built.

You don't have to go to the limits of the universe to see the Oblivion Time. It's in our steps, in our heartbeats, in the clicks of a keyboard. In every physical phenomenon, in every perceptual act, the evidence of discontinuity is hidden in plain sight.
