Dimostrazione Tecnica Technical Demonstration

How the dilation of ⊖ reproduces the results of General Relativity.

Obiettivo e Contesto SperimentaleObjective and Experimental Context

The objective of this demonstration is to prove that the Oblivion Time Theory is not in contradiction with the experimental data confirming General Relativity, but rather offers a reinterpretation at a more fundamental level. We will use data from one of the most precise experiments on gravitational time dilation, conducted by NIST in 2010, where the rate difference between two atomic clocks placed at a height difference of 33 cm was successfully measured.

Passo 1: Il Postulato Fondamentale della TeoriaStep 1: The Theory's Fundamental Postulate

Per un osservatore a distanza $r$ da una massa $M$:We start from the postulate that oblivion time ($\Theta$) dilates in a gravitational field. The most elegant and coherent form of this postulate is that it follows the same Schwarzschild factor that governs time dilation in General Relativity. For an observer at a distance $r$ from a mass $M$:

$$ \Theta(r) = \frac{\Theta_0}{\sqrt{1 - \frac{2GM}{rc^2}}} $$

This is not a new law, but a new interpretation: it is not "time" that slows down, but the frequency of reality's "clicks" that decreases.

Passo 2: Derivazione MatematicaStep 2: Mathematical Derivation

A clock's "rate" is the inverse of its oblivion time ($1/\Theta$). To compare two clocks, one at the bottom ($r$) and one at the top ($r+h$), we calculate the ratio of their rates, which is equivalent to the inverse ratio of their oblivion times:

$$ \frac{\text{Ritmo}_{alto}}{\text{Ritmo}_{basso}} = \frac{\Theta_{basso}}{\Theta_{alto}} = \frac{\sqrt{1 - \frac{2GM}{(r+h)c^2}}}{\sqrt{1 - \frac{2GM}{rc^2}}} $$

Since on Earth the term $\frac{2GM}{rc^2}$ is very small, we can use the binomial approximation $\sqrt{1-x} \approx 1 - x/2$. After a series of algebraic steps (detailed in the full essay's Appendix), and using the definition of gravitational acceleration $g = GM/r^2$, we obtain:

$$ \frac{\text{Ritmo}_{alto}}{\text{Ritmo}_{basso}} \approx 1 + \frac{gh}{c^2} $$

La differenza frazionaria di ritmo, cioè quanto più veloce va l'orologio in alto, è il risultato di questa equazione meno 1.The fractional rate difference, i.e., how much faster the top clock runs, is the result of this equation minus 1.

$$ \frac{\Delta \text{Ritmo}}{\text{Ritmo}} \approx \frac{gh}{c^2} $$

Passo 3: Confronto con i Dati SperimentaliStep 3: Comparison with Experimental Data

Inseriamo i numeri reali dell'esperimento del NIST, dove $h=0.33$ metri:Now let's insert the real numbers from the NIST experiment, where $h=0.33$ meters:

  • $g \approx 9.8 \, \text{m/s}^2$
  • $h = 0.33 \, \text{m}$
  • $c \approx 3 \times 10^8 \, \text{m/s}$
$$ \frac{gh}{c^2} = \frac{9.8 \times 0.33}{(299,792,458)^2} \approx \frac{3.234}{8.987 \times 10^{16}} \approx 3.6 \times 10^{-17} $$

This result is exactly what is predicted by General Relativity and measured experimentally. This proves that the Oblivion Time Theory, in its most coherent formulation, is not mere speculation but a quantitative model that precisely reproduces observational data, offering a discrete mechanism (the dilation of "clicks") that yields the exact same result as the continuous model.
