L’istante che cambiò tutto The Moment That Changed Everything

I was in a hotel room, in a small French town perched on a hill on the border with Monte Carlo. I was working on assembling a LED wall for the Yacht Festival. It was evening. From the window, I could see the sea, the illuminated ships, the lights blinking in the dark like an invisible code. In that moment, time seemed to stand still. A mental photograph. A suspended present. A pure instant.

Mi domandai: quanto dura un istante? I asked myself: how long does an instant last?

For years, I had been reading about quantum physics out of personal curiosity. But that night, something changed. It was no longer just a reflection: it was an intuition. That instantaneous present was perhaps the very structure of reality. The universe is not a continuous flow: it is a sequence of instantaneous presents, separated by an invisible interval, which I have named Oblivion Time. A quantized nothingness that separates each beat of reality.

My son Yago helped me see beyond with his questions: "Dad, how long is a minute for a gnat?". Those questions, naive and powerful, forced me to look at time not only through the eyes of science but through those of consciousness.

That's how I began to connect everything: physics, relativity, perception, consciousness, and reality. The central idea was simple yet revolutionary: time is not continuous, but sampled. What we perceive as a smooth flow is just an illusion built upon a grid of instants. This is not just a physical theory. It is a worldview.
