Oltre Oggetto e SoggettoBeyond Object and Subject
Western philosophy has long been obsessed with the dichotomy between an objective reality ("out there") and a subjective perception ("in here"). The Principle of Rhythmic Relativity dissolves this division. It asserts that there is no "absolute" reality that we then perceive in a distorted way. There is only the **relation** between our rhythm of existence and that of other entities.
The "indeterminacy" of the electron is not its intrinsic property, nor a flaw in our instruments. It is the very nature of the interaction between two systems with radically different rhythms. The electron does not "is" a probability cloud; it **appears to us** as such, because our slow rhythm can only sample its lightning-fast existence. Reality is not what is, but what emerges from the meeting of two frequencies.
La Coscienza come SintonizzatoreConsciousness as a Tuner
In this view, human consciousness is not a mere passive recorder of events. It is a **tuner**. Our oblivion time (⊖) is the "sampling frequency" with which our mind constructs its version of reality. This explains why time seems to flow at different speeds at different moments in our lives: when we are focused, scared, or bored, we might unconsciously alter our perceptual rhythm.
The universe is like a radio station broadcasting on infinite frequencies simultaneously. We, with our biological ⊖, are tuned to only one of them. The physics we experience is simply the "music" being broadcast on that frequency. To radically change our ⊖, if it were possible, would mean tuning into a completely different physics.
Il Reale come SincroniaThe Real as Synchrony
What, then, does it mean for something to "exist"? In this framework, to exist is to be in sync. Two entities can interact, touch, see each other, only if their "instantaneous presents" overlap. If two systems had completely incommensurable rhythms, they could pass through each other without ever "seeing" each other. They would exist in temporally parallel universes, while occupying the same space.
Reality is not a substance, but a relational event. It is what happens when two or more rhythms meet and vibrate in unison, if only for an instant.
