Capitolo 13 Chapter 13

Il Tempo di Oblivion nel Microcosmo The Oblivion Time in the Microcosm

Particelle subatomiche e discrezione del moto. Subatomic particles and the discretion of motion.

The microscopic universe appears to us as elusive, indefinite, devoid of clear trajectories. It is the realm of indeterminacy. But what if we recognized that what we lack is only adequate temporal resolution? The Oblivion Time Theory offers a new perspective: in the microcosm, every particle is subject to its own rhythm of temporal clicks—that is, a minimum time of existence, defined as ${\Theta}$. For the electron, this value coincides with Planck time, which is approximately $5.39 \times 10^{-44}$ seconds. A value so small it escapes any perception. But for the electron, that click is everything. It is its fundamental unit of existence.

L’elettrone non vibra: pulsaThe electron does not vibrate: it pulses

Poi… nulla. Un micro-oblio. E poi, un altro scatto. In our macroscopic world, we imagine movement as a continuous trajectory. But the electron, if subject to a quantized time, does not travel along a line, but a sequence of infinitesimal jumps. It is not a fluid vibration, but a discrete pulsation. Between one click and the next—between one instantaneous present and the following—the electron "is not." There is no "during." There is only the before and the after, as in a film composed of isolated frames. Each click contains all its position, all its energy, all its spin. Then... nothing. A micro-oblivion. And then, another snapshot.

Perché allora l’incertezza? So why the uncertainty?

Heisenberg tells us that we cannot simultaneously know the position and velocity of a particle. But if the particle does not exist between one instant and the next, if there is a true ontological "gap" between its clicks, then this uncertainty is not a law of the universe, but a consequence of temporal discretion. in each instantaneous present, the particle is determined. But between one instant and the next... it disappears. When we observe, we do not see continuity, but only the frame. And in trying to see the motion between frames, we get lost.

Conclusione: il microcosmo è ordinatoConclusion: the microcosm is orderly

The discretion of time, if applied to the microcosm, reorders everything that seemed chaotic. Chance becomes rhythm. Indeterminacy becomes a lack of synchrony. The void between clicks becomes oblivion, not error. And the subatomic universe, instead of being an incomprehensible mystery, reveals itself for what it is: a choreography of perfectly coordinated clicks, simply too fast for our eye.
