The sound of time flowing in snapshots

All’improvviso, clic. Imagine being immersed in the most absolute silence. Suddenly, click. A small noise. Then silence again. Then another click. This is the rhythm of Oblivion Time: not a fluid flow, but a sequence of ignitions, of existential "ticks" that alternate with nothingness.

Our subjective experience is confused with a continuous flow. But if we observe deeply, we discover that time manifests as a sequence of images. One after another. Like a film that comes to life only when light passes through it. Each frame is an instantaneous present. Each darkness between one frame and the next is a ${\Theta}$.

Il click dell’universoThe click of the universe

L’oblio. The universe itself beats time. And that beat is not fluid: it is segmented, pulsating, like the beat of a heart. The universe does not sing a continuous symphony: it plays a rhythmic music, with pauses and resumptions. Time is no longer a river. It is a cascade of clicks. Each click is a "present." Each interval between clicks is total absence: the time-non-time. Oblivion.

Il tempo come suono ritmicoTime as a rhythmic sound

Perhaps the closest way to imagine Oblivion Time is not visual, but auditory. Like a drum beating an ancestral rhythm. Time is quantized music, not a wave, but a sequence of notes. And between one note and the next? Silence. And it is precisely that silence that makes each note audible. Thus ${\Theta}$ is not just the interval: it is the very condition for something to exist.

Conclusione: l'universo come partitura spezzataConclusion: the universe as a broken score

In this vision, time is not a line, but a score. A set of sound-instants interspersed with silence-instants. And we, conscious beings, are both musicians and listeners at the same time: we interpret this music, believing it to be a flow, while in fact we live in a system of snapshots, of clicks, of ${\Theta}$. Time does not flow. Time pulsates. And every beat is an invitation to observe, to synchronize, to understand.
