1. Il tempo come sequenza discreta1. Time as a discrete sequence
Ogni istante osservabile è numerato nella sequenza, dove vale: In the Oblivion Time model, time is not continuous but composed of a sequence of instants ($t_n$) separated by a minimal indivisible interval, ${\Theta}$. Each observable instant is numbered in the sequence, where:
This means that time advances in discrete steps, like a ticking clock, not continuously.
2. Confronto con il tempo continuo2. Comparison with continuous time
In our discrete model, time can only take on values that are multiples of ${\Theta}$:
3. Relazione con il tempo di Planck3. Relation to Planck time
Il tempo di Planck ($t_P$) è considerato il più piccolo intervallo di tempo significativo: The Planck time ($t_P$) is considered the smallest meaningful interval of time:
Nel nostro modello, assumiamo che per l’elettrone il Tempo di Oblivion coincida con il tempo di Planck: In our model, we assume that for the electron, the Oblivion Time coincides with the Planck time:
For other objects, the value of ${\Theta}$ may be different.
4. Universo come sistema digitale4. Universe as a digital system
La durata totale di un’esperienza osservabile ($T$) sarà quindi: We can represent reality as a digital system where each temporal "click" is an instantaneous present. The total duration of an observable experience ($T$) will therefore be:
- $N$ è il numero di presenti istantanei campionati.$N$ is the number of sampled instantaneous presents.
- ${\Theta}$ è la durata dell’intervallo tra due presenti.${\Theta}$ is the duration of the interval between two presents.
5. Tempo e massa: dilatazione ritmica5. Time and mass: rhythmic dilation
In environments with greater mass or intense gravitation, the Oblivion Time lengthens (${\Theta}$ increases), which decreases the frequency of instants. This explains gravitational time dilation in an alternative way: it is not time that slows down, but the sampling frequency of reality that drops.
